Ak Bars Kazan and Burritos

Ak Bars Kazan (Russian: Ак Барс Казань, Tatar Cyrillic: Ак Барс Казан, Latin: Aq Bars Qazan, English: Kazan Snow Leopards) is a professional ice hockey team based in Kazan, in the Republic of Tatarstan, a federal subject of the Russian Federation. They are currently playing in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).
The team's name, Ak Bars, is derived from the official symbol of Tatarstan, translated as Snow Leopard, a traditional symbol which has its origins with the Barsil, one of the Tatar tribes.

The Random Article thing on wikipedia ROCKS! hahahaha so this is my special random article that came up when I pressed that oh so beautiful button.

So yesterday my girlfriend and I were holding hands. I am blessed with a good amount of Mexican(o) blood in me and she is quite white. So she looked at our hands and is like "Im so white!!" and I said "We go together like... beans and sour cream in a burrito." Now ain't that just the most romantic thing you've ever heard right? Well what are some funny, cheesy, or outright stupid things you have said to a lover, a friend, boss or whoever?

My Watch Grew Wings and My Back Hurt

Whoa! I finally rediscovered the blog. Its good to be here again. I left a few months ago and just never came back. I have now returned, changed the name and lets see how long I last this time! ^_^

My back actually did get injured though. I got a herniated disk a few months ago... at age 16. No bueno.
Several factors led to this:
1. I helped two people move in a single day
2. I bench pressed 30lbs more than I am used to on that same day (stupid)
3. I ran 7(ish) miles on that same day
4. Me and My friend Paul tried to find out who could pick up the biggest piece of deadfall in the forest...on that same day.
Im sure there were other factors but that about did it. I damaged a disk. Ill tell you what it hurts!!! But Im back, and lets kick off with a little Merengue   (how do you pronounce that!?)

Feel the Repeal!

So Obamacare has been repealed in the House of Representatives! YAY! but dont throw a party yet, The repeal of ObamaCare still has to go through the Senate.  The Senate has 53 Dems and 46 Reps...and Lisa Murkowski. There needs to be a majority vote, but the Democrats hold the most senate seats. Its up to them to help us repeal ObamaCare! Lets pray they come around.

South Sudan

New country appearing in the world!! Early, '08 we had Kosovo pop up in the former Yugoslavia, now we have the Nation of South Sudan. Many issues are immediately given to the new country

1. Most of the oil (a large part of all Sudanese Economics) is Sudan is in Southern Sudan. There was an agreement before stating that the North got 50% of the income and the South  got 50%. Even though the South is the place where the oil is. The question with this issue is: Will South Sudan keep this agreement? If they do, they might be saving themselves from its nation's first war. If they don't they might just start their nation's first war. With North Sudan.

2. South Sudan will be one of the poorest countries in the world. And that's saying something considering the other African nations. South Sudan is also not in a geographical location for much improvement without a great deal of capital. The question: Will the government of South Sudan be wise and efficient and start the nation off great? Keep it with no improvements that aren't checked by degradements? Or Send the country worse than it already is? Keep your eyes on that.

3. Religious Tensity: North and South Sudan split, mainly because South Sudan is Christian and North Sudan is Muslim. Many other countries surrounding Sudan are Muslim as well. The Question: Will South Sudan find itself in a religious war against North Sudan or another Muslim country...or both?

Politcian's Game

Politician’s Game
by Victor Atkinson

They fight over chair and desk
Its a trap for the man and coin
The battle is truly grotesque
It’s quite a fun game, will you join?

Rules are simple and reward is great
You sit on your duff and shout
You reap what you sow and what you sow is hate
You stir up clouds of doubt

Take all the riches that you can,
make sure its more than enough,
Find every thing that you can ban
Make sure their lives are hard and rough

Its never you who does anything wrong
Its always the other guy
Who strikes the crowd and beats the throng
He is the one who ought to die

It truly is a crusade in here
But it always happens the same
You spread the lies and you spread the fear
 In the politician’s game

We put the Ugh in Thought

Society has progressively gone downhill as to how we think. We don't think about what matters anymore. In financial, political, religious, domestic, and really anything anymore do average people think hard enough about what they are doing. When some sucker is offered a "too good to be true" kind of deal (scam) they don't stop to think that maybe it is. When people are voting (if they even vote (which in itself is thoughtlessness)) many these days don't stop to think about policies or what the candidates will do for the country, they just go with whoever has the funnier name or who looks the best. It is a little saddening to watch the people around you ruin themselves and others by thoughtlessness.

So lets stick with the old adage "Think before you leap".

California or Bust!

Its more like California will bust. Seriously, read this:
"22 out of 35 of the cities with the worst unemployment rate in USA are in California and Florida (only 3 are in Michigan - I was surprised-). 8 out of 10 are in California. The worst is in the great valley of California because the farmers are out of work because the government cut off the water supply to save some stupid animal."  That stupid animal which is causing millions to suffer is called a Delta Smelt. Wikipedia-Delta Smelt (Look there if you want more) It is pretty much a 5cm long transparent fish that cant even be eaten. I am totally for animal protection here. Just not at the cost of human livelihood. Those farmers in California don't deserve to be hurt by a fish of that unimportance. Maybe if the entire race of bovines was going extinct, but they're not...at all.

That is two examples as to how California is doing. I see California as a good state with a trend-following, self-centered, socialistic, pot-smoking, whiny, hippie government! Now I like California, its pretty, good beaches and I can say probably half of the populous is decent people. But the Government is treating the people like crap and ruining millions of lives for their precious transparent minnows, their weed, their beloved dollar bills and blessed wind mills. It makes me sick.

They are a socialist government. Socialism is supposed to be a system for the benefit of everyone and would be granted that ALL HUMAN BEINGS WERE PERFECT...but we most certainly are not! Hence Socialism is, in reality, a system where hard working fellows give homage essentially to people who do nothing. California spends roughly 39% of its income on PENSION!!! That is a PERFECT example of the reality of Socialism. Dang, if I was a politician in California, I would make a KILLING off of chair-sitting, I'm pretty good at that.

Back to the fish (its just that stupid). Humans are superior. We have a depth of consciousness shared by NOTHING ELSE. We can think intelligently, we can show so much more feeling and emotion than an itsy bitsy dumb fish! The fact that we debate over whether to save the Delta Smelt, is proof that we are better than them.

And as a final statement: I am not against the people of California, just the government.
